With almost 10 million active users each month and a clear plan to increase financial inclusion, JazzCash is Pakistan’s top digital payments network. Nearly half of Pakistan’s population, or 100 million people, do not currently have access to banking services. A wide range of financial services is available via JazzCash, including money transfers, bill payments, debit cards, insurance, savings, tickets, food delivery, government, and corporate payments. Through the JazzCash USSD channel, a smartphone application, and more than 80,000 retail agents countrywide, these services may be accessed. JazzCash QR and an online payment gateway solution enable more than 45,000 retailers to accept payments. Since the middle of 2019, the adoption of the digital payments platform has led to 1 billion+ transactions totaling PKR 2 trillion.
